More Blah Than Theory... More Theory Than Reason...
I've decided that I no longer like the new sexy look of my blogspot. It's too... boring?. dull? not eyecatching enough. Not saying I want exploding rainbows and pulsating banners, but maybe it needs an amendment to get this place lookig more.... me.
But as I have just come out of a period of two weeks dedicated to one thing, that of which was not school work, it means that I have two weeks of catch up to do, and it's more than possible that in that time period my mind will change, taking into account the indecisiveness of the person I am.
Wow, I'm in a *waffling* mood right now. I believe that's what they call *thought flow* . Actually, I have no idea what they call it (i just made up that name but I know they call it something) I could have said *mind spill* or *sentence blah* or soemthing as equally effective. Maybe *bullshit* is the best name to describe the essence of what I am trying to convey. What am i trying to convey anyway? And who are these so called "they" that tend to think all the things that are thunk and rethought in this world. Why should their *mind blah* affect ours?
So I'm gonna stop rambling and leave you with that bunch of thought provoking blah.
...But who is *you* anyway?? lol. make me stop talking!

I bite my fingernails. It's a habit.
My sister goes to me; "don't you get grossed out by the black shit under your fingernails when you bite them?"
My reply: "No, because I don't have any fingernails for there to be black shit underneath!"

Serendipity - A fortunate accident
Sometimes I wish that life was controlled by fate. That day to day episodes were mere postcards which make up the complete collage, predestined happenings. That it's all layed out there for us to follow.
I'm a terrible decision maker. Possibly the most indecisive person in the world (so I've been told), and so it is not suprising that the idea of a predestined life, where every decision you make has in fact already been made for you, come to great comfort for me.
Right now, I'm letting my life be led by the suffled selection of music playing for me by beautiful iTunes.
Lily Allen - Friday Night is on at the moment. Well hello mr 'Tunes it's kind of one day after friday night... Maybe the lyrics are telling me something.
*There's a lesson that I want you to learn,If you're gonna play with fire then you're gonna get burned,*
Well, I'll keep an eye out for that fire you're refering to. (maybe it's a good thing I didn't go out last night).
next song... *Andre Mieux- Love*. Whenever I hear this song it brings me back to an interesting time; That was before she screwed up her life - could I have helped it if I changed a few things during this time? Made a few decisions that could have changed my own life.. But, as fun as those times were, I was young, and we were all a bit naive. I wouldn't go back there.
Tonight I'm trying to decide something. Now ordinarily I would flip a coin. But I think the coin has started digging into my thoughts; it always flips to which way I want to go (maybe it's scared of the consequences otherwise), not necessarily the way I should be going. Yes, Last time I used dear coin to make my decisions, three times it flipped heads - but I still regret doing what I did.
So here's to iTunes. Should I do it tonight?
Warren G - Get U Down Woah, what's with the oldschool R&B?
Don't let nobody let you down...
are you telling me I should make the decision myself?
no, can't do that. Can I?
Go Set Go - I hate Everyone . HAHAHAHA! You've got to be kidding me iTunes ! I'm not like that!. Not that depressed am I? Mad & deranged perhaps, but not cinical.
OH HOLD ON... I know who you're talking about.
Imma end this jargon blog..
wish me luck with my decision making!
serendipity..

A friend of mine the other day said to me "I'm going to write a book about my life."
"Wow" was my reply, "Actually, I used to want to do exactly the same thing"
"And then make a movie from the book..."
That was until I realised how egotistical it would appear if I actually did. Plus, my writing skills aren't anything I'd try and sell.
In fact, I think the only reason for my longing to make a movie out of my oh-so captivating life story was (and possibly still is) because of the musical accompaniment.
Have you ever come to a moment and thought *Hang on a sec, where's the background music that should be playing?*.
Or maybe I'm just weird.
Movies are the ideal drug to escape our own lives and join the tale of another. Don't deny it, we've all secretly envied that character that gets the babe on screen. We are all searching for that happily ever after.
But I snuck a late-night DVD onto the screen and muted it so the rents wouldn't suspect...
and it was just ___ dull.
That's right; without the music the movie turned into something not all that dissimilar to the bore that I may call my life.
What I guess I'm trying to say is that music can be everything.
I think the reason I wished for my life to turn into a movie was to experience the times when everything could be made better with the aid of a melody.
Such as right now; Damien Rice - Dogs. Now That'd be perfect. Unfortunately I think Imogen Heap's - Goodnight and Go would be the theme song... too often applies...
I sulked to my best friend over the loss of my entire iTunes library the other day. She has a nano, but has less than 100 songs on it and is too scared to take it anywhere. I don't think she understood why I was so bummed.
Maybe this might explain it. This is what music means to me;
Thanks to:
Regina Spektor -Hotel Song
Claude Kelly - Alone
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - Lighthouse Keeper
James Blunt - I can't Hear the Music
Matt Pond - In an Aeroplane Over The Sea
Anberlin - Paperthin Hymn
The Doobie Brothers - Listen To the Music
The Wombats - Let's Dance to Joy Division
for their precious words. and music.

1. Notting Hill
this had to be first up- not necessarily because it is the best of the list, but it was my first ever love affair with RomCom. Many endless summers have been spent watching Notting Hill a million times with the rents and sis
2. Juno
I don't know what it is about it. So weird, so wacky, so alternative. yet not typical. PLUS it has Jen Garner in it. enough said
3. Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
Wow. I hated the first hour while watching it (my expectations were completely thrown off). But something happened in the last 10 minutes of this movie [the twist perhaps] that saw it flying up to my list of best Movies ever watched.
4. Suddenly 30
I could watch this one hundred times (and have) and never get sick of it. the spontaneous Thiller dancing is a scene to be admired
5. Just Like Heaven
In the spirit of feel good movies ,and Mat Ruffalo movies I had to include this one. I had a miny obsession with Ruffalo after watching this (and suddenly 30). And then I saw his fingernails.
6. She's the Man
It's soccer. it's comedy. and It's Channing Tatum. enough said.
7. Breakfast At Tiffany's
There's absolutely nothing better than snuggling up with a warm mug of Hot choccie on a winter's day in front of some classic Audrey Hepburn
8. Zoolander
Possibly the most quoted comedy of the 21st century (along with the one below)
9. Dodgeball
10. there are plenty more, it feels wrong to close off the list with a tenth so i'm leaving it black =]

Slice the GSs into round slices (like bagel crisps) and dump a slice of Parmesan on top.Trust me, it's *MMMmmmmmmm*.
Blue Cheese & Berry Jam.2

1 slice Plastic cheese + 1 English Muffin.4

and that's the end of the list folks! wow, I really can't think of anything else I wouldn't eat [except for the obvious dog shit, ear wax etc....] haha!
Preface note: obviously there are the classic perfect time wasting sites - Postsecret blog, FML, youtube, facebook and the lot. These are on the top of my list when in need of some good procrastinating material, but with true boredom comes the necessity for a list of web surfing material a tad longer than that. I'm constantly pickign the following from other sites, recommendations and magazines. so here goes.
1. 1000 awesome things
It's a site, that's updated every week, uses the word "awesome" liberally, reminds us of the absolute beauty of said "awesome" things such as the smell of rain on a hot sidewalk, repeditive sneezing and fresh underwear. it's like the opposite of fml. love it!
2. rotten tomatoes
By far the best in movie reviews. Be wary that they are particularly in favour of Indie and aternative films, classics and black humour, so if thats not your thing thentake note. Good thing that's exactly the sort of Friday night flick I'd put my feet up to
3. Paper Radio
Just found it today - not quite clear on what it is. Kind of curious to fnd out. Great design site too.
4. Picdit
Some pretty neat artsy things
5. Three Thousand
My numberone to go to when you need something to do next Saturday night. Updated everyweek. I subscribe to them so not to worry
6. The Disign Files
Hear this is a good place to waste your time. yet to have fully checked it out but from what i've seen so far it looks suave!
7.Etsy
.
